Good, if you enter a section in the crypt where rich people were laid to rest you're on the right track. head north from there and you'll find a small room with a single sarcophagus in it I think off to the right and once the vampiress is killed take the ring and the amulet from the ashes then search the sarcophagus and armor is in it.
