Sorry to hear you're feeling sad regarding gaming, however I suspect
there are games in the eco system which would suit you.
Entombed is actually not particularly easy as far as rpgs go.
I'm not sure which monster breeder game you mean either the online rpg
or the Japanese game Breed memorial, though both were relatively okay
rpg wise.
so, If you give me an idea of some things you've tried and what you
might be interested in , I can probably make suggestions, as I've tried
many things that are out there.
In particular, if you're looking for a real other world to get lost in,
have you considered muds or browser games?
Again, I appreciate the problem, but I suspect it's not as
unsurmountable as you might think, since these days the accessible
gaming eco system is very well populated.
