Well, I thought I had until I listened to the credits and was told there are more coins to be found. I enjoyed the game immensely and look forward to trying out the other games. Cheese always follows the same route. He will start in the same place and finish in the same place, so if the chase finishes too soon, it means you've taken a wrong turn. Just return to the place the chase began and you play it again. You will need to finish the chase for the game to progress. If you get stuck during the first episode, the dining room wall will have ghostly writing that tells you what to do next.
