Hi Andrew, yes, the game system was designed for accessability. I worked with a young man called Ed, who had suffered a stroke and lost all of his central vision. Not only had he gone blind, but because of the stroke, he was having difficulty doing simple things, like turning on the radio. I worked with him as my main tester, because I realised if Ed can do it, then just about anybody can. We made a lot of design changes thanks to Ed's input.
