Hi, Will. No, that isn't stupid just a matter of accessible game economics. We don't have the money to mass produce a game like big time game companies so we make do with what we can. if we jack up the price to make the game as good as it can be then ultimetly the game dev will loose out on prophet because there will be less buyers. Here is a news flash. Here in the US many estimations put unemployment among blind Americans at 82%. That means the large number of customers are on low income such ass SSI or SSDI. Under those circomstances agame dev can't expect a customer to pay more than $30 or $40 at most for accessible games. Honestly, a game priced at $20 to $30 range is going to ssell alot better than the one in the $30 to $40 range. The ones over $40 and beyond must be extremely good to be worth most accessible games to sell at that price range.
