Hi.
I don't yet have Monkey Business, but what I have heard over the past
few years that it is widely regarded as a good game over all.
As for the ledges I think the obvious reason for why they are there is
to add dificulty to the game. They are clearly tricky, and I have read
the spoiler for that level on audiogames.net. My advice is finish the
level as best you can, move on with the game, and when you complete the
game come back to the ledges and practice until you get the desired results.
I don't know how much you been exposed to vidio games, but when i was
sighted I played some games that were frustratingly difficult. I did one
of two things. I either practiced until I did it or I gave it up.
I remember this one game I had which was a Smirf game of all things. You
had to find your way to Gargamel's castle to rescue Smirfette. Anyway, I
entered this one region with bats swooping down, and while they were
attacking you had to jump over cliffs, casems, while evading the bats.
It always seamed one or the other got me. However, I eventually made it
through. However, like all games that wasn't the end of my trials.
The end of the game was pretty tuff as well. Once you were deep inside
the castle you had to jump up on this huge skull to finish the rescue
and by that time I was usually on my last life. Well, if I flubbed the
jump I had to start the game all over from scratch, because my smirf
fell off the skull and died.
The point here is that James North was putting in bariers and dificulty
in to the game which isn't going to be figured out in one quick move. It
may be frustrating, but if you don't like the level use the cheat and go
on with the game.
