I am going to offer my experience on this matter. It is actually not as
simple as pressing the right key and the jump key at the same time. You must
actually hold the right key for about two tenths of a second before pressing
the jump key. The game must be clear on which way you're going before you go
that way. Personally, I like that way of doing things.
