Booga booga gang!
I am pleased to announce the Rail Racer alpha has been delivered to the
game testers and they are busy racing their brains out.
Since I last updated the list about Rail Racer, I have incorporated the
artificial intelligence into the game, so players have a choice of
difficulty to race against.
The levels range from "Me go fast one day" to "Rail Racer Pro".
I can assure you that Rail Racer Pro will require that drivers have a
confident and steady hand. Almost no mistakes can be made while driving
against the Pro level if you hope to have any chance against your opponent.
I have updated the website with instructions for the game. This gives
much more detail about how the game is played, as well as showing folks what
features the game will have upon full release.
I have received some really good suggestions from the community that will
make the game better, and suggestions are still very much welcomed.
This is turning out to be a game unlike anything the blind gaming
community has seen, and I think all of you adrenaline junkies out there will
love it.
To find out more about the game, go to

and click on the Rail Racer link. The instructions can be found on the
Main Rail Racer page.
Lastly, I am developing a career mode for the game where players will earn
money for winning races. This money can be used to repair and upgrade your
racer so you can take on even faster competition and earn more money.
As well as having lap and course times posted on the website, I plan on
having a list of how much money players have accumulated, as well as career
points.
I would like your feedback on this idea.
Do you like the idea of earning money for racing, or would you rather just
have a points system in place?
Any other suggestions for the career mode are very much welcomed.
Please post your comments to the list so others can respond to our ideas.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Che Martin
