I am figuring on an electric model for my needs. I really don't have any trees at all but you wouldn't know that to look at my yard. I'm dealing with mainly oak and or maple leafs around here, so nothing overly punishing to a blower. For all that I will need it for that should be fine since I've got electric cords that will reach every place I need. It's a pain to be able to fill up 12 or more bags of leafs when you don't even own a tree. Thanks for the reply, I think Toro is one of the models the hardware store has on the shelf. It's an ace hardware that just opened real near to my house. Actually I think they have at least 4 or 5 brands to pick from. David, I own 2 leaf blower/vacs. The oldest is a Sears Craftsman gas powered unit. It is about 12 years old. I find that it is quite heavy and the blower works ok, but not great. I hate the vacuum arrangement on it and never use it. Last spring, I bought a Toro electric model blower vac. I really like this unit!!! It was not expensive. I paid $45 on sale and the normal price here is $49. It is light weight, has 2 speeds, is powerful, converts quickly and easily from blower to vacuum and all parts can be stored inside the vacuum bag. I can't tell you the model number right this minute, but i could later this evening, if you want. I highly recommend this Toro unit. Hope this helps.-- Mickey ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Ferrin" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, October 24, 2006 10:54 AM Subject: Re: [BlindHandyMan] leaf blowers > Interesting, why is that? > David Ferrin > personal email address > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Consciousness is that annoying time between naps. > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "rj" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: <[email protected]> > Sent: Tuesday, October 24, 2006 11:50 AM > Subject: Re: [BlindHandyMan] leaf blowers > > > One thing you should look at is the discharge shoot.
