No reason why you shouldn't be able to do it providing you know
where your utility lines are. Don't know if anyone else has had
experience with them, but there are some really cool ones on the market
that have a solid top with holes at the end that seem to work really well.
I haven't needed to install them yet, but when my trees get bigger
...
