in terms of sanders and dust extraction, you can get adaptors for it.  
however dust extraction means having a reliable extractor with a  high spec  
filter 
to deal with fine dust particles without  losing the power. also the  fact 
that in some cases dust extraction doesn't always work. as the material  being 
sanded often  creates more dust on the surface and does not get  collected.  I 
use a makita belt sander and I've made a connector for my  power vac by taking 
a stock of tubing and warming the end up with a heat gun.  then forming it and 
cutting slight notches in. it's worked well for me and does  its job all the 
time.
