Well I guess only stupid questions are the ones you don't ask, but if
someone considers this a stupid question, well so be it.
I am not completely clear what a dado cut is, but if I udnerstand,
they are where you cut grooves or slots into wood where you could
slide other pieces into? I ran across a blade assembly for a lack of
a better description that appeared to be a could of blades or at
least one mighty wide blade for a skill saw that apparently was used
for cutting dados. I assume then a router, skill saw, or table saw
can do the same task and of course they all have their advantages.
Now for another question. I have a Skill skill saw where the blade is
on the right side and of course the motor is on the left. I was
considering getting a saw where the blade is on the left which I
prefer. I don't know why I prefer this, but I do. I did see a worm
saw made by Ridigid which looked to be very nice. Is there any real
advantage of a worm drive saw verses a regular skill saw? The price
for the worm saw was about $167. I'd like to know if its worth it and
if so maybe I'll wait until it goes on sale. If anyone has any
suggestions on skill saws, please let me know.

tnx

Scott
