Hi Clifford and all.  I had planned to draw power from the house panel. 
I'll consult my expert friend John Smith, yes, that's really his name, about 
what I need to do.  I can usually get him to help me with such projects.  He 
is a very good friend and we help each other a lot.  Thanks to all who have 
offered advice and comments.  I don't plan to put in any large power tools 
such as a table saw.  I'll move my drill press to the shop and maybe get a 
grinder.  Oh, yes and a small lathe of some kind.  I still have all those 
messages everyone sent in response to my question about lathes.
