Hello
I am making a small TV stand for my daughter. I am almost at the point of
constructing the 3 adjustable shelves.
I can't decide what I want to do.
The shelves will be about 17" x 25" and 1/2" thick.
I am not sure if I want to make them out of solid red oak or a 2" rail and
style frame with a glass insert.
I am leaning towards the glass.
Would 1/8" double strength work or should I use 1/4" glass?
I also thought about plexi-glas but more leaning to regular glass.
The items that will be placed on the shelves would be her cable box, DVD player
and vicar. Non of these are very heavy.
The unit is going to be red oak with a natural stain.
