sounds like drum rollers depending on what type of dryer and the make this can be a very easy fix or a royal pain ----- Original Message ----- From: bill holton To: [email protected] Sent: Friday, February 16, 2007 4:47 PM Subject: [BlindHandyMan] Drier duldrums
A few weeks ago our drier started squealing a bit at startup--a belt going bad I figured. Now the squealing has stopped, and the drier still seems to work fine, but there is a slappy sort of bang with every turn, like I have something metal bouncing inside the drum. How many belts are on a drier? Is it possible for one to go and the other to still work? Thanks.
