Dale, forgive me if I asked you this once before. I went to sears.com to buy one of these just last Tuesday, and even added it into my cart, when I read the specs which say it's for right-side-bladed saws only. I thought about it a bit, and couldn't really figure out why there would be a difference in using it on a right or left side bladed saw, but then I chickened out. The specs weren't clear about how you could use it for cross-cuts too without removing it, but the sliding guide you mention solves that question. So, again, any reason this can't be used on a left-bladed saw? Thanks, and again, sorry if this was asked and answered already. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of John Schwery Sent: Saturday, February 17, 2007 10:17 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [BlindHandyMan] accu-rip saw guide or something similar? Ok, so the saw and the guide move together to make the cut. Is there some sort of rail system or a device where the device stays put and the saw moves along it that doesn't cost a bundle?
