Larry, I agree that the saw stop sounds like an expensive safety feature that should not be necessary. However, I'll be the first to admit that I am not perfect and have, possibly once or twice in my life, made a mistake. Now I know that most of my friends on this list won't believe that, but it is true. Accidents do occasionally happen.
