I'll think about that. I think I even have a unit which doesn't play tape or DVD for some reason but should receive television signals well enough. A cheaper alternative might be to get either a receiver with a cable tuner in it, or just a cheap VCR with a cable tuner, and then run the audio from the VCr to a nice receiver.
