Lee, I had a wireless g router that worked like a top for my stuff. My
wife had a school computer that had trouble finding it since it was setup for
school network. My daughter had a desktop that would drop the connection with
the wireless setup on a regular basis or not be able to find it and need to
restart.
I got a draft n router and the speed is wonderful. No one has a problem
with the new one at all. The only thing I have noticed is that new connections
take about 3 seconds; but, they never drop or lose it after that. The g
wireless connected faster but signal was lost or dropped with my wife's and
daughters comp. With the multiple signal reconstruction in the system the
distance has also increased. I never wanted or needed the extra distance; but,
I was tired of being asked if the internet was on. Now I don't get to hear
that at all and I'm happy since they are happy and quiet. It has no problem
with operating with the older b, g wireless equipment. My wife is happy since
the network printer is also very easy to access. ...........................bob
