Not unless you make the cut to deep.

Is it? If it goes all the way through you can just make 2 cuts with a regular blade. I know I must not understand what you are telling us. ----- Original Message ----- From: Lenny McHugh To: Handyman-Blind Sent: Saturday, December 29, 2007 10:49 AM Subject: [BlindHandyMan] miter saw feature dado cutting Hi All, I was a little disappointed with my sliding miter saw. I wanted to make a quick dado cut. The saw has a height adjustment for this purpose. What I did not expect is that it made a blind dado cut. When the blade height was increased it will not cut all of the way through the stock. To make it cut through I had to install a small backer board.
