ok, that is a different matter. Yes you more than likely will have to do
that with a sliding miter saw because it won't cut that last little be bit
towards the back of the saw. I still say this is better done on a table saw.

No, no, no. He means that the saw can't cut all the way across the board. He
has to put a block of wood behind the board so that it's wide enough for the
saw to cut across.
