And that is good to kep in mind, but the question of wear is high on my list. I have three dogs and although I keep their nails trimmed, they are dogs. I know some folks that had a dog who reall hosed their hardware floor they had installed. Now I understand it was apparently oak, but I don't know if it was somthing to look like oak or if it was true oak. Either way, the dog scratched the hell out of the floor and it looked like crap after about a year. Now they only had a kitchen that was maybe 13 by 12 done for about $1,200. I have no idea what it really costs to get this stuff installed, but regardless durability is way at the top of the list.
