Of course just to add a little to the mix, these aren't technically consider real vaccum cleaners are they? My understanding is they are kind of more a sweeper machine than a regular unit that would use more air than the sweeeping ability to get the floor clean. Subsequently, they also don't handle dog hair very well as I understand. My wife and I were kind of interested in one of these, but with 2.5 German Shepherds in the house, that's a crap-load of hair for any machine to handle.
