Nope, It is a battery operated device which has some sort of infrared eye or something. The line of sight from the eye disallows the Robotic Vac to cross that point, ware ever you place it. Depending on which package you purchase, you may get only one or possible two virtual walls, but, you can always, fore more money, purchase more!
