If I might insert a line on the power lines and any kind of ladder
usage . there comes a time when a blnd person needs to consider safety
and having to ask a sighted person for advice. I'd like to see all of
you stay on this list and not be fried. of course maybe to be fried by a
power line there might have to be some bad wires but that is possible
too. when I first moved here and bought with my wife my inlaws estate
we found the wiring to be really really outdated even the wires leading
to the meter were partially exposed. then I learned my lesson when
using a metal extension ladder one day and a nice or decent neighbor
yelling" stop Lee oh my gawd stop" apparently I wa sinches inches
from a bare spot on the lines leading to the house which over the years
had brushed up against the corner of the roof and the end of a gutter.
It sure is great that you and I as blind folks can do many things but
at the same time keep in mind that maybe, just maybe we need a sighted
person t scope out some jobs we are about to do.Lee

Bullwinkle: You just leave that to my pal. He's the brains of the outfit.
General: What does that make YOU?
  Bullwinkle: What else? An executive.
