We had our kitchen and den floor done by Home Depot a couple of years ago.
The guy they sent out to measure the floor screwed it up and the single
piece of vinyl was too small. H D had to eat that but then the contractor
wanted to put us to the bottom of the list which would have meant another
month's delay with the den furniture crowded into the living room. We
called the contractor only to get stonewalled so we went to home depot. I
ended up speaking to someone at corporate headquarters. About two hours
later the woman from the contractor called me back and she was very
contrite. I assume she got a good chewing out by the Home Depot exec. They
came the next Sunday to put in the floor. I can't complain about the
quality of the work or the flooring. When things don't go according to plan
you have to get on the phone and make your voice heard.

Regards.
