I had it done professionally. They had what I assumed was a basic canister unit, but there was this auger-brush deal on there that was powered and pulled itself along through the duct work in some fashion. I can say they got a lot of crap out of there. He actually ran a camera down there first to get a lay of the land and showed up some interesting stuff. So, I do believe it's worth it.
