I second what ever he said. I haven't read the responses yet but I'll bet many people advised silicon rubber. I have used it on many a ham antenna and it is a very good water seal and lasts a very long time. And as an additional bonus it can be removed if necessary. It gets pretty tough after several years of curing but it is still not as hard as concrete.
