Dale, It is a contractor series shop vac. It has a fairly large, expensive,
bag that wraps around the inside. The input port is sealed to the bag. This
bag is the dirt collector and the primary filter. Then there is the
accordion type center filter and finally another filter at the exhaust. The
machine was $100. It is the most powerful vac I have ever used. I like the
fact that no dust escapes but the price of the bags is a little ridiculous.
For wet pickup you remove both the bag and the accordion filter.

What!!

Goodness! what sort of machine is that? You could hire someone to clean up
after you for less.

I can't empty. I must replace the bag for about $18.

Do I have to worry about spontaneous combustion. Earlier this morning my
wife dropped a glass when placing it into the dishwasher. That glass
literally exploded. There was glass all over the kitchen floor and inside
the dishwasher. To help clean up the mess I used my shop vac. This unit
  has
a large bag collector that functions as the first filter. The bag has a
  lot
of saw and sanding dust. When she vacuumed the glass out of the dishwasher
the powerful vac pulled water out of the drain. I know that wet saw dust
  can
become pretty hot. Is there anything I must be afraid of?
