Yep!

That is what you do. Generally, a good heavy masonry chisel will about take it
off with little trouble but it takes a little patience and time.

Subject: [BlindHandyMan] Removing grout from cement

  Aloha listers,
Been off list for awhile, but am back with a question.

We had ceramic tile in our entry-way and we are replacing it with
vinyl flooring. I removed the tiles, but there is still some bumpy
grout on the cement floor. Is there anything I can do besides sit
with a chizzle and hammer to get it up? I'm assuming that the cement
has to be fairly smooth before the installation of the new vinyl. I'm
not installing the vinyl, and I haven't been able to reach the
installer to find out how thick the new adhesive will be.
  Thanks bunches, Betsy
