Just curious, I've not heard about this in a while, but you have  
apparently some level of Raidon gas in a basement which suposedly can  
cause cancer or some such thing. My understanding is that some air  
should be allowed into the basement and sealing the thing completely  
would prevent this. So, is there any real truth in all this? Yes, I  
know I'm opening a can of worms perhaps, but I have a sump pit down  
here and I guess it's open letting any such gas in perhaps, but gee, I  
wonder if it's all that big a deal. I figure chances are I'll die of  
something else so why worry. grin
