Sometiems it is difficult to tell if the compressor is started and runnning or just humming and trying to start. One really needs to be tuned to what is a normal sound and how long before it trips. I don't think we know at this point. I believe, if it's the capacitor, the motor on the compressor won't start at all. If it seems like it is starting to run then gives up, it's more likely to be the compressor its self. The capacitors involved usually are motor start capacitors and if they go bad, which is not uncommon, the motor may hum, but won't turn at all. what good this does for Jennifer whilst boiling is unknown. tom [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
