I don't know about the beeping when you get close to something. That would be a whole kit to install. You can buy replacement back up lights with a beeper in them. The beeper is just controlled by the current running to the lights like normal. You can get halogen back up lights which really light up behind the car. A friend has a car that beeps when he is backing up and gets near something. It even beeps when he backs down the slope of my driveway into the road. Can that kind of thing be purchased to put on my car that doesn't have it yet?
