Tom, You can purchase a turn-key video system that not only warn you auditorily it will also show you on an in car monitor what you are about to hit. The system is activated through the backup light circuit and the transmitter sends a wireless signal to the monitor inside the car. I have installed a couple of them on race-car hollers and vacation trailers. Most high end pickups, SUV's and motor homes come with them as standard equipment. Prices start around $175 and go up.
