Hi all, I either put half a cup of Cascade dishwashing powder in the paper filter which is in the basket and run the coffeemaker through its cycle or...I fill the coffeepot with white vinegar and pour it through the reservoir so it goes through the filter and basket. I always do a rinse with just plain cold water after either procedure.
