Hi, Wish I had an answer, but unfortunately I only have another question that I hope someone out there may have an answer to: I have a DVD which skips and plays stuttering in a Zenith DVD player, but when I put it in my computer it played fine. That makes me think that it isn't that the disk is dirty or anything, but wonder if the inside workings of the Zenith could be dirty. Is there something that will clean that up in the way that there waws a cassette you could run through your player to demagnetize and clean it?
Thanks for any tips. It took us near 8 hours by the time it was finished. We did run into some problems along the way. Like my RF Modulator was burned out or whatever prevented it from working. So I assume my DVD player was not broken which gave me the idea to go and buy a Home entertainment Center in the first place. After installing and hooking up the RF modulator we tried the system out. Everything worked fine till we got to the DVD player, and that's when we encountered another problem. We stuck a disk in the DVD and it started loading and something when afoul. I received a message on the display stating protected. So I called support and they told me That I'd have to take the receiver back and exchange it, so we took it back and they did the exchange, plus had to retrieve our DVD disk that was still stuck in the first one that we couldn't get out because the receiver locked everything up when we got the protected message. Okay, here is a question I have. The unit came with a antenna with about 3 feet of wire. You connected the antenna to one of those coaxial cables connectors, the same size that your cable TV cable is.. This antenna does not receive very well. Is there a FM coaxial cable antenna that I can buy that will give me better reception? that will give me better reception? ------------------------------------ Send any questions regarding list management to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To listen to the show archives go to link http://www.acbradio.org/pweb/index.php?module=pagemaster&PAGE_user_op=view_page&PAGE_id=33&MMN_position=47:29 Or ftp://ftp.acbradio.org/acbradio-archives/handyman/ The Pod Cast address for the Blind Handy Man Show is. http://www.acbradio.org/news/xml/podcast.php?pgm=saturday Visit The Blind Handy Man Files Page To Review Contributions From Various List Members At The Following address: http://www.jaws-users.com/JAWS/handyman/ Visit the archives page at the following address http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ If you would like to join the JAWS Users List, then visit the following address for more information: http://www.jaws-users.com/ For a complete list of email commands pertaining to the Blind Handy Man list just send a blank message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] !
