I'm surprised they didn't tell you that you were supposed to bring someone with 
you to take care of paperwork.  I've been told that in a doctors office.  
Unfortunately I have a way of being understood or at least left alone.  I asked 
them if I was supposed to bring someone along to pay for the visit too.  
Because if I had to supply someone for the paperwork then I wasn't paying the 
doctor.  They came around pretty quick.

  I had a lady at a doctor's office that couldn't understand why I refused to 
  fill out the form she was handing me at the time. I told the nurse after 
  that the people at the front desk need to get a grip on reality.
