The new circ saw is what appears to be a nothing special Craftsman. Mostly plastic body, 7.25 inch. It has a thumb switch that you have to press in before pulling the trigger.
I asked for a second circ because I have mounted a plastic shoe to my other saw for use with my guide track. The problem is that with that shoe on it, I have occasionally found that I can't cut deep enough, and taking the shoe on and off is a problem.
