Actually I've got two circ saws where one has the blade on the left  
and the other the right. Both are regular drive, not worm drive. One  
is made by Milwaukee and is a battery powered unit and the other is an  
old Skill corded model. The one thing I have learned is the battery  
operated saws aren't very good. Although the new Lithyum Ion batteries  
sure seem promising.
