Interesting, While groping up a number of saws this evening, only two had a trigger lock-out. I can certainly see the safety in it, but like many safety features, they have some disadvantages.
I'll have to take a look at a couple of others. I am thinking that the worm drive is probably not worth the extra weight and cash. I saw saws with amp ratings from 10 to 15 amps.
