Claudia, it would not hurt the tile, but surely would be the end of  
the glass. :) As far as cleaning it, we have not had a problem. I  
think with a good grout and I assume a sealer is used as well, you  
shouldn't have any problems. We have three dogs and despite their best  
efforts, we have always been able to clean it with just a Swiffer.  
Sometimes my wife and I will scrub it with brushes on our hands and  
knees, but that is rare. It is a white tile, so you know it will show  
dirt, but yet the Swiffer takes care of that.
