Bob, those two pins that hold the bit are now a snap action instead of screw in. By reversing the drill they go in almost the entire depth of the bit and push the core out. Start drilling again and it backs back out. A quick snap back allows the bit to be unscrewed, and a slight push forward locks the bit into place. Very fast and very nice.
