Depending on the task being performed in this attic and how large it is I would
use a 100 or 150 watt. It does sound like it is being left on. Perhaps a sign
taped over the switch will educate those sighted people.

  Subject: [BlindHandyMan] What wattage bulb?

Hello, There's a fixture to screw just a naked light bulb into up in my attic.
It's hardly ever used of course, but each time I have used it for a sighted
person who needed to be up there,
Next time I went to use it, it would be burned out.
Either it is being flipped on on accident by someone looking for a light in
the garage, and it is being left on and out of sight out of mind, or I am
perhaps putting the wrong wattage bulb in it?
Does anyone know what the best wattage for this aplication would be?
  I have no idea.
  Thanks,

  Matt
