Probably 100 is most useful for your sighted friends. What you might consider doing is threading a chain pull switch into the socket. That way on and off is controlled by the chain pull and it won't be effected by any other switches turning it on or off. ----- Original Message ----- From: Matt To: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, March 03, 2009 3:07 PM Subject: [BlindHandyMan] What wattage bulb?
Hello, There's a fixture to screw just a naked light bulb into up in my attic. It's hardly ever used of course, but each time I have used it for a sighted person who needed to be up there, Next time I went to use it, it would be burned out. Either it is being flipped on on accident by someone looking for a light in the garage, and it is being left on and out of sight out of mind, or I am perhaps putting the wrong wattage bulb in it? Does anyone know what the best wattage for this aplication would be? I have no idea. Thanks, Matt [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
