Isn't there a Panasonic cordless phone which announces the number and if available the calling name? I thought I read about that some time ago.
I don't usually consider caller ID or call answering mainly because I still have to deal with it. If I don't know who called or if they can't leave a message then I don't have to return a call I didn't want to receive. Plus I am pretty cheap about handing off more money to the telephone company. I suppose I would have it if it came free with the service. Scrolling back through a log might be interesting when we have been away. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bob Kennedy" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, April 05, 2009 12:13 PM Subject: Re: [BlindHandyMan] talking caller id > Any I've ever looked into including the one I bought has to have the names > added.
