Ron, Do you know why you have to check the air pressure with the tool running? I don't quite understand that, because the pressure gauge in the compressor reads the available pressure without the tool running. If indeed you need to be running the tool a pipe t could set up to make it possible to get a reading while running the tool. A helpful auto parts store that sells air fitting should be able to give you the right parts. I know it's a dial you turn, but there is a gage which I assume tells you the air pressure being fed to a tool. So lets say a tool uses 75 to 100 psi. Can you tell when the air pressure is in that range? I'd assume if the tool works, then it's in the correct range. But I wouldn't want to damage the tool by providing too much pressure.
