I hope your right. :) Actually this Jeep has been a pain in a particular location for a long time. It seems to behave for a while, but then goes through periods of nickel and diming me. I promised my wife the next vehicle we get will be new and she can pick pretty much what she wants as long as she promises she'll drive it till the wheels fall off. We got the Jeep used when we couldn't afford a new vehicle and the plan was to drive it into the ground. It seems that it may drive us into the ground first with all the little repairs and such. grin. Amazingly and this has nothing to do with anything, but if we did get rid of the Jeep, which is nearly 10 years old, purchased lets say a new Ford Escape hybrid or even a Honda Element as an example, our insurance cost would only increase by $40 or so a year. I gather the Jeep being considered an off-road vehicle is why we do pay a higher premium. I didn't think to much about it at the time, but that is now a part of the consideration when looking at vehicles.
