Noel, What I do when I am drilling, is I take a block that I know is nice and square, actually, I use a 1 2 3 setup block. I stand that up next to the spot where I want to drill, then just line up the drill bit with the edge of the block. Once you get the drill going, you can slide the block out of the way. Does a great job for me.
