Hopefully this  will help answer a question about messages in the list. To 
eliminate the > signs in a reply go to tools then options. Under both the 
text and html settings you can uncheck to indent and to use a > sign.
Also it would be great for the list if everyone would check include the 
original message in replies.
Before I had the honor of becoming a moderator of this list, I did miss many 
questions. I had a habit of ignoring a question and reading a reply. Usually 
both the question and answer are there. When outlook express is not set to 
include the original message one can only read the answer.
Hopefully this will answer a few questions. A lot more help could be 
obtained on the blind computing list.

OE adds the silly >>> as a way of marking the reply in a new message.  There 
is a way to change that but I don't remember right now how to do that.

I use a 6" square I purchased from Wood Peckers. The square gives me the
reference point I need to drill straight.
