Did you ever think of using a pool cover for the winter? Or at least during the fall till all the leaves are through falling. I've even left my solar blanket on for the winter. Do you have an automatic sweeper? When fall comes, I'll leave my sweeper in the pool with the solar blanket on, and run the sweeper once a week till the water gets to cold that the sweeper won't work. Yes, the automatic sweeper will stop working when the water gets to cold because of this part that makes a clicking sound, and it's made out of rubber. The rubber isn't flexible enough when the water gets to cold. That's when I pull the sweeper out for the winter. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andrew J.
